Inspired by the blockbuster film Avatar, Tigz collaborated on a self-initiated project with make up artist Jemma Powell to turn the model into one of these catlike creatures. Taking four hours to paint her from head to toe, including hair braiding and lots of tribal jewellery and feathers, the shoot took place at a nearby swimming pool against a white backdrop to allow Tigz to cut out the model and turn into a series of illustrations. The raw image for this particular illustration was shot as the model was cooling off in the pool after the shoot, making the perfect composition.
