2016: A Year in Images

Dec 27, 2016

With the studios officially closed for the holidays, its time to sit down, relax, pour a gin and reflect on what a year 2016 has been!

I always love writing these posts as it gives me a chance to look back on the blur that was the past 12 months and reminisce about the moments that led to these photos. The excitement when I find out I get to photograph someone I’ve always wanted to work with. Watching a nervous client relax in front of my camera and become the epic I see in them. That awesome feeling when I know I’ve got “the shot” and can’t wait to share it. Even after 7 years, there’s nothing else I’d rather do than take photos. Which is a very good thing, because 2016 saw 116 bookings and all of you were incredible! To all of my wonderful clients – those featured and those who prefer to keep your photos for your eyes only – thank you so much for your support and loyalty throughout 2016. It means the world to me that I get to do what I love for a living – and I honestly couldn’t do it without you. You are all amazing.

I honestly can’t wait to show you all what I’ve got planned for Tigz Rice Studios in 2017. I’ve also just renewed my passport, so if you’re out there thinking “I’d love to do that but you’re based in the UK” – I’m putting it out to the universe that I’m ready and willing to travel. Get in touch. There’s still a few days left of 2016 though, so get comfy on the sofa and prepare for some scrolling. From Lanzarote to leopard print and lots and lots of lingerie, here’s a look at what I’ve been working on throughout 2016…
