Photography Farm is one of my favourite places in the world, so I was really excited to bring my annual Boudoir Masterclass back again this year, joined by Lady May Den Voyage and Felicity Furore.
For those of you new to the blog, my Boudoir Masterclass is a full day dedicated to the world of boudoir photography, covering everything from posing, shooting and post processing to finding your perfect clients. Providing two very different models and a plethora of lingerie, the workshop is fully interactive, offering the chance to take your own images and learn a range of skills to help you add boudoir photography to your repertoire of skills.
Whilst last year we focused on utilising the entire location, this year I chose to focus on getting out of comfort zones and working with as many different styles of boudoir lingerie as possible. A lot of the lingerie I get to work with in the studio is form fitting shape wear or corsetry, so I was really looking forward to shooting Ayten Gasson’s new collection. Both Felicity and I had to adapt to compliment the difference in styling. It was certainly a challenge, but an enjoyable one and I’m really happy with how the images came out, especially the cream babydoll. It was also great to finally work with the purple robe from Betty Blue’s Loungewear, which I’ve had hanging in my lingerie cupboard for almost a year just waiting for the perfect moment to shoot it!
Possibly my favourite outfit of the day, however, was the Clessidra Couture gold corset, teamed with an ivory Kiss Me Deady lingerie set and coffee coloured stockings from What Katie Did. I love the shape of the corset and the tones worked really well with the style of the boudoir.
A massive thank you to everyone who was involved in the workshop, to the models, the wonderful companies that supplied our boudoir lingerie and of course Photography Farm for inviting me to host the workshop. Here are some of my favourite images of Felicity…
