Hello, gorgeous! I’ve been seriously looking forward to sharing this particular boudoir shoot with you, as the silhouette shot below is one of my favourite ever black and white images taken in the Art Deco Boudoir! Oh, do I miss shooting there… Featuring the wonderful Victoria Rose, this was taken as part of my Boudoir Makeover Day in 2019.
Want to know more about Victoria Rose and how this boudoir shoot went down? Read on…
Victoria Rose
Occupation: Sex worker/Cybertease Organise/Burlesque Performer
How would your best friend describe you? Super loyal and super reliable.
Name three things that you always carry with you? Lanolips, umbrella and headphones!
What was the last book you read? A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
Do you remember how you originally found me? I think it was from another burlesque performers post of a shoot you’d done before! I loved the style so much.
What inspired you to book a photoshoot? I was recently made redundant at the beginning of year so I wanted to do something that was for me and to breathe some creative new life back into me.
Who would play you in a movie of your life? Not a clue maybe Winona Ryder?!
What’s the most interesting thing about you that the internet doesn’t know about you yet? I sleep with my childhood toy and I am desperate to leave the UK!
Tell us about one of the outfits you wore for your shoot – why do you love it? I wore my first ever Agent Provocateur set I ever bought, which is still one of my favourites to this day! It always makes me lots of money in the strip club.
Describe your shoot experience? The shoot was a lot of fun and remember talking a lot which always puts me at ease. I don’t particularly love photoshoots as I am a bit self-conscious of my face in photos, but I didn’t even think about it once the whole time Tigz was photographing me.
What song gets you on the dancefloor? Any RnB. Mary J Blige comes to mind. Or any 80s bangers.
What are you most proud of in your life so far? Becoming financially independent.
What is your top body confidence tip? Be naked as much as possible! Dance naked. Do your make up naked.
What will your autobiography be called? Don’t Read This.
If you could be a model for any brand, which brand would it be and why? Lady Lucie Latex, just because she makes amazing products and her shoots are always awesome.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about booking a boudoir shoot of their own? If you have questions, ask! The photographer is there to work with you. Make them aware of angles you don’t like too.
