Looking for a stocking filler or two for your loved one? Gift buying needn’t be tricky and I’ve done some of the hard work for you. It’s the most wonderful time of the year so sit back and take a look through my favourite luxury lingerie themed stocking fillers for the festive season. With a range of price points but the very utmost in decadence, these gifts are bound to impress. Or, find their way under your own tree as a little gift to yourself for being so fabulous!
What Katie Did – Fully Fashioned Stockings (£22.50 – £30.00) Made authentically on vintage Reading machines and with every pair finished by hand, you can expect absolute style, class and a beautiful fit from What Katie Did. The perfect stocking filler gift for someone who loves authentic vintage fashion. (They also offer beautiful seamed stockings, available in a range of natural tones and sensational bright colours.)
Opening Exhibition Catalogue; Underpinnings Museum (£19.00) Ok, so I’m a little biased here but it’s for good reason! The Underpinnings Museum is an free online resource dedicated to recording the history of lingerie, from vintage corsetry to modern day lingerie and hundreds of styles in between, each item is photographed in detail by yours truly, accompanied by an incredible amount of information and research from founder Karolina Laskowska and bra expert Lori Smith. All profits from sales go directly into funding the project, so you’ll be doing your bit to help keep this resource free for everyone.
Sweet Dreams eye mask in black and ivory by Playful Promises (£15.00) Sweet dreams are made of this… and a good night’s kip filled with peace and quiet comes from wearing an eye mask to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, I wholeheartedly recommend wearing one. The silk satin is of beautiful quality and the absolute darkness of wearing a mask definitely helps with a deeper sleep, whilst looking decadently peaceful.
Dream After Dark Balm by Kiss the Moon (£16.00) Coupled with the above eye mask, this sensual balm brings a little piece of calm to your day. Perfect to help you drop off to sleep or when you have got a migraine or eye strain after driving or using a computer screen for too long. The packaging is stunning and the fact it’s cruelty-free, ethically made in the UK, and free from any harsh chemicals makes it all the better for me; it’s good for the world and your wellbeing.
Bespoke Luxury leather Burlesque nipple pasties from Beau Rocks Costumier (£75.00) These have been on my lust list for a little while now. Accept no imitations when it comes to nipple pasties; Beau Rocks makes the absolute best. Purchasing ones that are cheap and cheerful are rarely actually cheerful. Purchasing from Beau Rocks you’re going to get quality. She’s renowned for being the best in the burlesque business for her feathers and boas too – as shown above by Lady May.
Christian Louboutin Rouge nail colour from Selfridges (£38.00) The ultimate in self-indulgence; perfectly colour match your nail polish to your Louboutin shoes. The price tag might put you off compared to ‘normal’ nail polish but as we know, Louboutin’s aren’t just ‘normal’ shoes – they are the epitome in style, class and sophistication. I’ll be keeping an eye out for this on Black Friday.
Bordelle Adriana Strap Collar (£45.00) Readers of my blog will know how much I love Bordelle, so I had to include this collar in my Christmas stocking filler wish list. I’d include more of their lingerie, but I like the idea of using this collar to jazz up a dress. The 24k gold plated pieces are divine, aren’t they?
Lingerie Addict – In Intimate Detail book (£11.00) Lingerie addicts assemble! I’ve featured this book by the incredible Cora Harrington a couple of times on the blog now since its release in the summer. If you love lingerie as much as I do, I’d recommend getting a copy. Not only for Cora’s wealth of knowledge, but the beautiful watercolour illustrations too. And the foreword is by the one and only Dita von Teese, making it the perfect stocking filler for lingerie lovers and burlesque lovers alike!
