Love taking Photos? You and me both! If I’m not taking or editing photographs, then I’m probably talking about taking or editing photographs. Therefore, it was a real honour and a privilege to be asked to host Adobe’s most recent online photography event, introducing the world to four of Instagram’s most influential photographers and giving you an insight into their creative editing processes using the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan.
Joining me for the event were UK based photographers Claire Luxton, George Turner, Sean Bryne and Hannah Argyle. Covering a broad spectrum of photography specialisms, from portraiture and lifestyle to travel and wildlife, it was great to see how other photographers use Lightroom and Photoshop to process their images, often using the same tools but in completely different ways! I also loved hearing each photographer’s inspirations and stories of how they got into photography. Such an inspiring bunch!
Although I’ve been in front of the camera plenty of times over the years, being in the hosting seat was a brand new experience for me – and one I absolutely loved. It was nice to be asking the questions for once rather than having to think of inspiring answers! Hopefully this will be the first of many opportunities to get back in front of the camera this year, so keep your eyes peeled for more of me on Youtube in the future.
If you missed the live streaming of the Adobe online event but fancy watching it on demand, I’ve embedded a link to the Love Taking Photos? video above for you to have a watch.
