Whilst most people have bucket lists of things they want to do or see in their lifetime, I have a second bucket list of lingerie brands I’d love to work with over the next few years at Tigz Rice Studios. Once such brand is UK based Karolina Laskowska, who I stumbled upon a few years back via mutual friends in the lingerie industry. Karolina was still studying for her degree in contour fashion at De Montfort University at the time, but already making waves within the industry with her ‘kinky sexy pants of joy’ – as well as contributing a series of brilliant articles for one of my favourite blogs, The Lingerie Addict. Having recently graduated and been awarded the title of Best New Designer at the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards, I was really excited to work with Karolina and model Yazzmin on an impromptu photo shoot featuring some of my favourite pieces from her luxury lingerie archives, along with some of Karolina Laskowska’s vintage silk Japanese kimono collection, a select few couture/bespoke pieces from other designers and an unfathomable amount of macarons!

We definitely made the most of the day and the location, shooting in as many rooms as possible. Carolina also had her Fujifilm Instax Mini to hand, which resulted in some brilliant instant film shots to accompany this series. My favourite location was the fireplace, which was one of the two rooms we shot in during the afternoon.  Here are some of the best images from the Karolina Laskowska shoot (and just in case you were wondering, yes, I got to take a handful of those macarons home with me!)
