This Tiki Temptation shoot with Miss Miranda  has been sitting in the Tigz Rice Studios archives for over a year now whilst we waited for publication, although the temptation to share it sooner has been absolutely killer! Back in the early summer of 2013, I was privileged to spend a day shooting with one of my favourite pin up and fetish models, Miss Miranda. Given access to this incredible underground tiki bar in Mayfair for the day, we decided to make the absolute most of the time available to us and shot three stories, each to be published by different magazines. The first story was published back in June on the cover of Delicious Dolls.

We had been spoilt with the latest lingerie samples from What Katie Did, including this leopard print Eartha set that I absolutely love (now available to buy from the What Katie Did website). Teamed with a pair of stockings, Fabulously Fetish heels and Miss Miranda’s own accessories, we set up in one corner of the bar to shoot against this colourful gold, green and carved dark wood backdrop.

As there are no windows and very little available light in the venue, my Elinchrom Quadras were perfect for bringing some light into the scene. Being battery operated was also a huge plus, as the venue was so full of tables and chairs it was very hard to reach any power points through the venue or even find enough room to set up a light. For the most part, I shot with a one light set up, using a Rotalux 135 Octa attachment to diffuse the light.

I had a brilliant day shooting with Miss Miranda and it was great to see the Tiki Temptation story published last month in the 2014 Special Edition of Tease and Cake magazine.
