Today, Thursday 27th October 2022, is National Mentorship Day. When I saw this pop up in my social media planner, I knew it was a sign from the Universe to get my act together and FINALLY push the publish button on an offering I’ve been working towards for over a year now: Mentoring Sessions for Photographers.
For those of you that have known me for a long time, you’re probably thinking ‘Hey Tigz, surely you already offer this?!‘ But the truth is that throughout THIRTEEN incredible years in the photography industry; 80+ monthly written tutorials for Digital Arts; countless long-form articles in well-respected photography magazines; delivering bespoke Photoshop training up to Adobe Certified Expert level for several prestigious UK companies; recording dozens of video training sessions on retouching techniques for other photography training providers; a decade of live stage appearances across the UK and Europe, including SWPP and The Photography Show (or Focus On Imaging, as it was previously known) for brands including Adobe, EIZO, The Flash Centre, and Wacom; not to mention a publishing deal for my award-winning coffee table book STRIP/TEASE…

I’ve actually, believe it or not, never formally offered any of this under my own branding, on my own website.
I know. I know. It’s about time, right?
Over the last few months, the number of requests I’ve had for portfolio reviews, constructive feedback on styled shoot sessions, tech help, publishing advice and general business questions has skyrocketed. You asked, and I’ve listened. I’m excited to start showing up for myself in new ways, whilst empowering you to do the same for your brand too.
From ‘The Quick Question‘ to ‘The Boudoir Shoot‘, there’s something on offer for photographers of all levels and abilities. Power Hours and Deep Dives can also be booked by those working in associated industries – such as modelling – that would support becoming more visible, honing their visual identity, working on their offerings, and general industry advice.
