The Photography Show is one of my favourite annual events of the industry calendar. Alongside the brilliant networking opportunities and spending 4 days catching up with photographer friends from all over the UK and beyond, its a brilliant place to keep yourself on top of all the latest innovations and trends in the photographic industry. This year, I was at The Photography Show representing Wacom, creators of the pressure sensitive, touch technology products that I have relied on in my own retouching workflow for almost 10 years now. As well as running a series of demonstrations and talks on the stand, Wacom were showcasing two of their brand new screen based products – the Cintiq Companion 2 and the Cintiq 27QHD Touch – alongside the Intuos Pro tablet range. Keen to get an inside scoop on what the Cintiq 27QHD Touch could do to enhance the photographer’s workflow, The Photography Show sent the awesome David McClelland over to the Wacom stand to have a chat with me and give a live demonstration for the TV feeds around Birmingham NEC.
