Wacom Cintiq Companion

Sep 7, 2014 | Education

Whilst my style of photography is undeniably influenced by vintage glamour, I’m a complete technology girl geek at heart! When I’m not out taking photographs, I enjoy researching the latest technology and experimenting to see if different equipment will enhance my workflow. This year, my focus has been towards my general productivity levels whilst on location, which in the past have been limited by last of power supply or simply having too much kit to carry. Between shoots and my public speaking engagements, I spend a lot of time on public transport or just generally out of the studio, so putting a good portable workflow structure in place could potentially save me up to a full day in productivity. With this in mind, I turned to the Wacom Cintiq Companion as an effective way of combining my laptop needs with a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, whilst reducing the overall size and weight of my equipment.

Of course, when you’re onto a winning formula you feel the need to talk about it, so the Wacom Cintiq Companion has featured a lot in my recent seminars and demonstrations, which led to me spending a day with the Planet Of The Apps team. The brilliant Lucy (who you may recognise from Adobe Create Now events) followed me on a location shoot day in London, followed by a run through of my post production workflow in a cafe round the corner. Want to watch? I’ve embedded the relevant section of Planet Of The Apps below.

You can also see more of the shoot with Anna Swickzeniuk on the blog.
