I’m so excited to bring you today’s blog post, because today’s client, sassy Sarah, booked the ultimate birthday treat, with a boudoir shoot AND a personal branding shoot on the same day! Of course, we’ll be focusing purely on the boudoir images in this, but keep an eye out on my Branding By Tigz Instagram for a sneak peek of some of the personal branding images.
Sarah’s boudoir shoot is a beautiful love letter to her body and it was such a privilege to be a small part of her transformation and document her journey of empowerment. Want to know more about Sarah and the inspiration behind this ultra-glam birthday treat?? She reveals all below…

Occupation: Branding Expert & Content Creative Director
How would your best friend describe you? She says… (literally her words) “You are undeniably the most courageous, kind, smart, and beautiful soul I’ve ever met. You’re so dedicated and in tune with yourself, and your joy and confidence radiates just like the sun. Also, you a badass bitch.”
Name three things that you always carry with you? Phone, water, wallet
What was the last book you read? The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks
Do you remember how you originally found me? Through the lovely Toyin of Tees Bakery!
What inspired you to book a photoshoot? I’ve wanted to do one for years, and now I’ve lost over 12 stone I wanted to embrace feeling sexy again! I’m not at my goal yet, but I wanted to feel empowered now.
Who would play you in a movie of your life? Depending on the purpose… for a general aura, I think Emily Blunt – an English Rose. But for the sass, I think I’d say Suranne Jones. This is tough as I cannot think of an actress who has my curves – but then again, I’m unique!
What’s the most interesting thing about you that the internet doesn’t know about you yet? It feels like everything interesting about me is already common knowledge! One thing I don’t talk about too often is that I’m a recovering alcoholic, over 5 and a half years sober now.
Tell us about one of the outfits you wore for your shoot – why do you love it? It’s really hard to choose one, but I have to say the black and red bodysuit from Ann Summers. It’s lacy and sheer, the colours are fire, and I feel most comfortable in bodies because they cover my tummy which is an area I’m very conscious of.
Describe your shoot experience? It was so much fun! It was empowering and just so enjoyable. Tigz really put me at ease and we had a laugh. I’ve been in front of the camera before but not in my underwear. I loved every moment of embracing my sexiness.
What song gets you on the dancefloor? I wanna dance with somebody – Whitney Houston
What are you most proud of in your life so far? My mental health recovery from addiction and eating disorders and how I’ve now built a business that suits me. Aged 20 I was rock bottom with alcoholism, I then moved into anorexia then binge-eating. Depression and anxiety were my norm. I’m proud that I’ve built my life back up and built a successful business as well.
What is your top body confidence tip? Focus on bits you DO like about yourself (and unfollow any accounts which make you compare yourself to others!)
What will your autobiography be called? Sassy Sarah: The Making of a Queen
If you could be a model for any brand, which brand would it be and why? It’d have to be Ann Summers – I love their lingerie especially now they do a much wider range of plus size and curve options.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about booking a boudoir shoot of their own? DO. IT. I know it’s scary and it can feel indulgent, but the confidence you’ll feel will empower you in every aspect of your life. Discover and embrace the sexy woman inside.
